National recognition for Cousins Business Law Solicitor

Cousins Business Law licensing specialist Nigel Musgrove has been named as a leader in his field in Chambers UK 2010.

Nigel specialises in licensing and gaming law advising breweries, pubcos, hotels, pubs, restaurants and clubs. He has acted as legal adviser to a local authority during the licensing transitional stage.

Nigel is an Affiliate Member of the British Institute of Innkeeping and teaches monthly on theirNigel Musgrove licensing specialist recognised by Chambers UK 2010 personal licence holder qualification.

Nigel, who joined Cousins Business Law earlier this year, is delighted to be recognised in this way; "It's always nice when others acknowledge your specialist skills or expertise but, at the end of the day, it's my clients that I'm worried about.  If I can do a good job for them, I'm happy."

Nigel trained in with Liverpool firm Cuff Roberts where he qualified in 1978.  Having spent a number of years at partner level with Thring Townsend and Withy King, Nigel joined Cousins Business Law in April 2009. 

Nigel regularly contributes to licensing trade publications and has published  The Licensing Handbook (Fitzwarren Handbooks) is due to be updated in 2010.
