Sue is an experienced commercial solicitor based in Birmingham from where she helps businesses all over the country and some abroad when they are setting up in the UK or dealing with a business issue in this country. She has spent over 26 years providing commercial advice to businesses, so has extensive experience to draw on.
Dealing on a day-to-day basis with commercial contracts Sue will take the pages of small print you have been given and check that they properly reflect the agreement you have negotiated with nothing nasty hidden away. She will take you through any commercial agreement and highlight issues which may need to be covered and develop the wording into a full legally binding agreement for you to sign. Sue prides herself on providing practical legal and commercial advice to clients in plain English. 
Her fluent French and Spanish as well as her knowledge of German are a great asset when dealing with businesses with a European element.
Sue is both approachable and adaptable, as indicated by the wide range of clients she has helped over the years including manufacturing, service sector, online and IT businesses, charities and non-profit organisations, including the University of Lincolnshire, where Sue was a key player in the team which established this new University.

Prior to joining Cousins Business Law in 2011 Sue was a partner in a niche law firm specialising in advising franchisors and spent over 20 years in a Birmingham city centre firm where she specialised in commercial contracts.
In rare moments of spare time when not acting as taxi for her daughter, Sue likes to swim, dance and travel or simply bury her nose in a good book.
